It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Schroeder (Elgin, Illinois), who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Kampert and Lila Kampert; her husband Lyle E. Schroeder; her daughter Karen; her siblings, Sue and Albert; and her granddaughter Debra Tepe.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Seitz (Daniel) and Lon Schroeder; her grandchildren, Amber Bloss (Todd Zimmerman), Wendy Garcia (Brian), Kyle Seitz (Sherri), Sherry Shereck (Joe) and Jennifer Schroeder; her sister Mabel Rehberg; her niece Cindy; and her nephews, Craig and Mike (Amy). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
