He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilene Jackson (VanFleet) and Mack D Jackson; and his grandparents, Nathanal, Goldie Jackson, Herold and Irene VanFleet.
He is survived by: his grandmother Sajtar; his children, Richard, Nicole Hollingsworth (Timothy) and Danielle; his grandchildren, Brandon Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Ariana Jackson, Autumn Jackson, Addison Hollingsworth, Jackson Hollingsworth and Jason Hollingsworth; his brother Don Jackson (Tina); his in-laws, Richard and Dolores Sajtar; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Penera, DeeDee Zirfas, Al Penera and Jeff Unruh. He is also survived by 3 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, and many very special nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (225 Jewett St, Elgin, IL 60123).
