He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Lee and Anna M. Lee; and his sisters, Rita, Linda and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia L Lee; his children, Joseph Lee (Evon) of Elgin, Clinton Lee (Lorena) of Elgin, Cory Lee of Addison and Lisa Lee of Elgin; his siblings, Donna Bridges (Donnie) of Texas, Frederich Lee (Kathie) of Texas, Lawrence Lee (Barb) of Texas and Edward Lee (Mary Therese) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Samantha Salyers-Lee of Wisconsin, Torin Lee (Allison) of Grayville, Jarred Lee of Grayville, Brandon Lee of Elgin, Ryan Lee of Elgin, Alex Lee of Beecher, Peyton Lee of Beecher, Alan Lee of Elgin and Aiden Szawlowski of Elgin. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the COPDfoundation.org, American Lung Association, or the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.
