“this is skip, a friend and brother ham radio operator in nebraska. i was very sad to hear of bill's passing. i know he was in a lot of pain and didn't deserve the life he had to endure the last few years of his life. the last time i saw him was in 2012. my wife and i bought him breakfast at ihop in hoffman estates. i wanted to get back to see bill but health reasons on my part prevented me from doing so. he will be missed. we talked on the computer or on the phone quite often. RIP bill.”
