She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hurley and Vera Hurley (Gaulrapp); her husband Albert "Bud" Burke; her son Dennis Burke; and her siblings, Lavonne Young, Luella Lee, John "Jack" Wendel Hurley, Robert "Bob" Hurley and Richard "Dick" Hurley.

She is survived by : her grandson John Burke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Citadel of Sterling.
