It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clark Edward Gerleman of Elizabeth, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Gerleman and Wilma Gerleman (Kuboushek) of Calmar, Iowa.; his parents-in-law, Joe and Caroline Lechtenberg; his son Warren Gerleman; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Lechtenberg, Mark Lechtenberg, Duane Lechtenberg and Bill Canaday.
He is survived by : his stepdaughter Kelli Swisher (Gerleman); his wife Joyce Lechtenberg; his son Grant Gerleman (Andrea Christ); his grandchildren, Amanda Swisher (Caleb Droescher), Austin Swisher (Shannon), Adam Swisher (Izabella Johnson), Garrett Gerleman and Monica Gerleman; his great grandchild William Swisher; his brother Roger Gerleman (Dianne); and his sisters-in-law, Edna, Jeanne, Kay, Mary Lou (Joe) and Jenks of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Dubuque in Clark's memory.
