He was predeceased by : his siblings, Greg Lindner, Sue Wirack and Carl Lindner. He is survived by : his wife Gail Quick; his children, Michelle Ziegler (Greg) and Jeff Quick (Jenny); his grandson Jacob Quick; and his siblings, Peggy Johnson and Alan Lindner.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 1st 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Queen of the Rosary Church (750 W Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 1st 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 1st 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cemetery Chapel (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to either the Disabled American Veterans Association or the Warrior Dog Foundation.
