With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald O'Connell (Elk Grove Village, Illinois), who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Helen O'Connell; and his nephew Jeff O'Connell (Cheryl). He is survived by: his spouse Fran; his children, Caryn Wagner (Vern) and Sean (Maggie Bieniasz); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Alec (Holly), Jack and Ryan; his great grandchild Grant; his brothers, Larry (Dottie), Tim and Dennis (Patricia); and his siblings' children, Steven Kleinfeldt (Karen), Janet Stolarski, Jay O'Connell (Karen), Julie O'Connell (Patrick Murray), Meghan O'Connell, Kathleen Smith (Russell) and Chris O'Connell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the church would be appreciated.
