It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert W Leski of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Leski; and his children, Sharon Lennstrom (Ken), David Kelly (Jeanine) and Joe Leski (Melissa). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hubert Catholic Church (729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
