She was predeceased by: her sibling Arzora "Marguerite" Meschon (Nee Howard); her parents, Vida Florinda Howard (Nee Hien) and Arthur Anderson Howard of Overland Park; and her grandson Eric Smorovsky. She is survived by: her children, Vicki Jolene McKee and Clifton Wayne McKee (Debi); her grandchildren, Evan Smorovsky, Cayman McKee, Ryan McKee and Isabelle McKee; and her nieces and nephews, Sharon "Lee" Bright (Nee Howard), Marchell "Marcy" Nelson, Gregory Nelson (Linda) and Mark Nelson (Ruby).
