He is survived by: his son Mark Maple (Mandy) of Springfield, IL; his granddaughter Gracie Maple of Springfield, IL; his sister Carol Downs of Du Quoin; his nephew Josh Downs (Lindsi) of Du Quoin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Downs of Du Quoin and Addison Downs of Du Quoin.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to: World Central Kitchen, Elverado Education Foundation, or Poshard Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
