He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maynor and Lourine Maynor (Comte); his daughter Tamara "Tammy" Holford; and his siblings, Jackie, Bill, Roy, Jim, Danny, Loretta and Glorie.

He is survived by: his sons, Troy Maynor (Dana) of Nashville and Chad Maynor (Ikuko) of San Marcos, California; his son-in-law Brad Holford of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Jacob Maynor (Paige), Ali Epplin (Eli), Zachary Maynor (N'Toia), Bria Holford, Cheyenne Mizner (Austen) and Reagan Maynor; his great grandchildren, Abe Epplin, Anya Maynor, Anaïs Maynor and Dawsen Mizner; and his siblings, Charles, Glenn, Phyllis, Rosalie, Mike, Steve and Frank. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church in Vergennes, Illinois, and will be accepted at the graveside service.
