We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2023, at the age of 77, Terry Douglas McClanahan of Elkville, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond McClanahan and Erma McClanahan (Richerson); and his brothers, Raymond, Joe, Steve and Tim.

He is survived by : his wife Lorna June Metheny; his sons, Terry P. McClanahan (Paula) of Du Quoin, Jesse J. McClanahan of Elkville, Bradley A. McClanahan (Teresa) of Elkville, Brian D. McClanahan (Wendy) of Elkville and Christopher L. McClanahan of Elkville; and his sisters, Glenna Harrison of Du Quoin and Linda Stewart (Tom) of Robinson, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
