She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Meritt and Hattie Meritt (Flynn); her husband George Tait; her sons, David Green and Harold Green; and her brother Charles Meserole.

She is survived by : her children, Edward Tait (Patti), Marjorie Jessen (Doug) and Bryan Tait; and her sister Joyce Moore. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren.
