He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Quick (Zink); his son John Quick; and his granddaughter Mollie Quick. He is survived by: his father James E. Quick; his stepmother Jean Quick; his children, Tim Quick (Mollie) of Waukee and Megan Ramstad (Austin) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, James "Mike" Quick of Ellisville, Robert "Joe" Quick of Burlington, Iowa and Jeannie Wattles of Rock Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
