He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. and Noba; and his brothers, James, Anthony and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Charles (Mary Jo), Joanne Pezza (Jeff Christensen), Michael (Renee), Mark (Colene Hodge) and Janell Evans (Rick); his grandchildren, Melissa (Chris), Matthew, Vincent, Maria Pivoney, Nicholas (Jessica), Tara, Mikala Hartnett, Vanessa Pezza, Michael, Andrew Pivoney, Evey Hodge, Anthony (Leah), Joseph (Ally), Jordan (Claudia), Maximus and William Santiago; and his siblings, Ruby Reitz, Charlene, Steven, Jean and Craig Pivoney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
