It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores T Battaglia of Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip Battaglia; and her siblings, Anna Falco (James), Elsie Scilingo (Michael), Violet Falco (Sam), Jack Archer (Florence) and Carmine "Bud" Archer (Arlene).
She is survived by: her children, Phil Battaglia, Jay Battaglia (Donna), Michelle Gunther (Barry) and Mark Battaglia (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Battaglia (Shannon), Lawrence Gunther (Alyssa), Danielle Gunther, Phillip IV Battaglia (Shannan), Deanna Green (Daniel), Tara Iden (Nicholas), Joseph Battaglia (Alyssa), Nicholas Battaglia (Katheryn) and Gabrielle Gunther (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Aubrey, Mason Green, Lucas, Logan Iden, Tess, Leah, Joseph, Bria Battaglia, Zoe, Adrienne, Leo, Ivy Gunther and Jennifer Battaglia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Visitation Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
