It is with sadness that the passing of Elaine Diamantouros (Elmhurst, Illinois) is shared. Elaine, born on October 2, 1938, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastasia Giannakopoulos and Nikolaos Giannakopoulos; her husband Kostandinos Diamantouros; her siblings, Kosta Giannakopoulos (Vasiliki) and Evdokia Tomaras (late Theodoros); and her brothers-in-law, George Diamond (Maria), Ted Diamond (Dina) and George Kastanas (Angeliki).
She is survived by: her sons, James Diamond (Dora), Nick Diamantouros (Natalie) and Joseph; her grandchildren, Costandinos Diamond (Johanna) and Elaine Levonyak (Justin); her great grandchildren, Ella and Theo; and her sisters-in-law, Angeliki Kastanas and Voula Diamond. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orhodox Church (893 Church Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
