She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pradel and Virginia Pradel. She is survived by: her husband Reverend John M. Wendel; her siblings, Jack and Charlotte; her children, Faith Hurst (Greg), John (Adriana), Timothy (Melanie) and Sharon Anderson (Chad); her grandchildren, Timothy (Liz), Kayla, Nathanael (Kira), Hannah, Elijah (Briar), Mariah (AJ), Olivia, Hunter, Parker and Grace; her great grandchild Elise Marie Wendel; George, Ruth and Paul.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cityview Community Church (343 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Parakaleo, an organization that provides Gospel-centered support and encouragement to women in ministry using the link http://www.parakaleo.us.
