We announce the death of Heidi Jane Burgener (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 64. Heidi Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Heidi Jane will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Heidi Jane will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Heidi Jane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her son Bradley James Burgener; and her parents, Ken Vonderohe and Nancy Vonderohe. She is survived by: her husband Randy; her daughter Amy Zeiher (Bryan); and her brothers, Mark Vonderohe (Debbie) and Todd Vonderohe (Angela). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Peters United Church of Christ (125 W Church St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
