He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lon Stumpf and Edith Cora Stumpf (Harbison). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his brother Richard Stumpf; his children, Annette Stumpf (Rick Rundus), John (Susan Stumpf), David (Joan Stumpf) and Carl Stumpf (Debbie Cline); his grandchildren, Austin Rundus, Marissa Moore, John Stumpf III, Janie Zhang, Danielle Stumpf, Dan Stumpf, Mike Stumpf, Cece Stumpf, Grace Stumpf and Katie Stumpf; and his great grandchild Brynn Rundus. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Yorkfield Presbyterian Church (1099 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
