He is survived by: his children, John J. (Jennifer), Patti Blain (Mike), Tom (Debbie), Julie Hurt (Jay), Jeanne Mulay (Mike) and Karen Filippello (Joe); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ringhand (Keaton), Andrew, Johnny, Ava Falduto, Cody, Emma Falduto, Madeline, Olivia, Sophie Hurt, Audrey, Ryan, Elise Mulay, Bella, Josh Kopf and Lulu Filippello; his niece Debra Novack (Paul); and his pet Suds.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (134 Arthur St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial was held on Monday, February 16th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Marywood Cemetery (1820 Church Rd, Aurora, IL 60505).
