She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank and Lillian; her children, Mark Placey (Mary) and Ellen Placey Wadey (Brent); her grandsons, Sean (Grace) and Connor Placey (Casey); her great grandchild Maeve Lynn; her cousins, Robert "Bobby" Walsh and Mary Jean Walsh Connelly; her aunt Joanie; and also, Connelly and Gleasons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (134 Arthur St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
