She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Eggert; her husband Dr. John R. Charters; her son Brian Robert Charters (Rina); and her brother Robert Horn. She is survived by: her sons, John R. Charters, Jr. (Cindy) and Douglas Allen Charters (Julie); and her grandchildren, Zachary, Noah, Jacob, Kaylie, Kassie, Thomas and Bradley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or PAWS.
