He was predeceased by: his spouses, Rose and Feeney; his siblings, Kathleen May, Sadie, Martin, Christy, Gerard and Paddy; and his parents, Dominick and Sabina.

He is survived by: his close friend Philomena O'Leary; and his siblings, Annie Maria, Sean, Dominick and Tony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
