She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaftner Matthews and Bessie Lake Matthews; her husband John Gibbon Cashman (Jack); and her siblings, Rex Matthews, Evelyn Matthews and Anna Hood Casteel.
She is survived by: her brother Marvin Matthews; her children, John Anthony Cashman (Dee) and Susan Kay Cashman; and her grandsons, Michael John, Kevin Robert, Christopher Ryan and Matthew William Cashman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Park Place of Elmhurst (1050 Euclid Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
