He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Erv" George and Martha George; and his brother Bill George. He is survived by: his wife Judy Barber; his son Rich; his daughter-in-law Lisa George of Elmhurst; his grandchildren, Heather and Alex Ong; his great grandchild Clara (Richard George) of Overland Park; his fiancées, Julia Cavallaro of Indianapolis and Megan George of Elmhurst; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Pete Swanson of Naperville; his grandchildren, Savanna, Annika and Cambria; his great grandchild Jenny; and also, Todd Young of Carmel, Kendall and Trevor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ (125 W Church St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Dick and Judy have been dedicated members of St. Peter's for 35 years, and as a result, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Peter's Church Building Fund.
