He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Kiermas; his brother James Mallaney; his parents-in-law, Edmund and Cecelia Kiermas; and also, Sparky, Dixie, Bruiser, Lexi and Brody.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Baer (Ryan), James Mallaney (Laura) and Patrick Mallaney (Cathy); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Logan Baer, Madison, Ashley Mallaney, Colin, Morgan and Olivia Mallaney; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Hansen (Donald) and Diane Witte (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
