Samuel J. Cascio Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 101, Samuel J. Cascio (Elmhurst, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marie Krause, Rosa Saia and Viola Stinson; and his parents, Joseph Cascio and Josephine Cascio.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie; his children, Joseph Cascio, Geraldine "Geri" Limonciello (Philip), Daniel Cascio (Joanne) and Dr. Michael Cascio (Catherine); his grandchildren, Joseph Jr. Cascio (Addison), Jennette Cascio (Javier Robles), Ellie Cascio, Gabriela Limonciello-Barrett (Justin), Samuel John Cascio (Angelica), Nicolette Cascio, John Cascio, Olivia Cascio, Michael "Mick" Cascio and Christopher Cascio; and his great grandchildren, Cash S. Cascio, Rocco Cascio, Nicolas Robles-Cascio and Camilla Cascio. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's University of Minnesota, 700 Terrace Heights, Winona, MN 55987-1399.
