As we bid Timothy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Timothy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hays and Esther Hays; and his granddaughter Hattie HaysBecker. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hays; his children, Laurel Hays (John Becker), Eric Hays (Joanna Hays) and Ariana Hays (Adam Johnson); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Inara, Madelyn and Nicholetta HaysBecker; and his brother Chris Hays.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
