Tom Karo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Karo (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on May 7, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Karo; his sisters, Rose Sarkisian (Wally) and Florence Farrell (John); and his parents, Sam Karo and Helen Karo (Karabedian).
He is survived by: his children, Doug Karo (Melissa) and Krista Rallo (Guy); his grandsons, Max and Dominic; his son Tom; his children-in-law, Guy and Melissa; and also Tim.
But after successfully dodging covid for three years, the virus finally caught up with Tom and he passed peacefully in May of 2023.
At this time, Tom returned to his childhood church St. Gregory's and once again, he would not attend service but donated his time in the kitchen helping make Lahmajoun (Armenian Pizza) that was sold to help support the church.
