He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Joan Trinen; his daughter Cathleen M. Trinen; his parents, John Trinen and Mary Trinen; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Morelli (late Fidele) and Donald Trinen (Barbara); his brother-in-law Robert Comiskey; and his nephew Jean Marie Trinen.

He is survived by: his child Thomas Trinen (Therese); his grandsons, Alex, Joseph, Danny Trinen and Jeffery Iverson; his sibling-in-law Jean Kathleen; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Comiskey, Roxanne Bajo (Morelli), Gina Anderson (Canzona), Donald, Robert, Bill Trinen, Jeff Canzona, Rocco, Phillip, Louie, Paul Morelli, Jim Comiskey and Michael Trinen.
