With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Iride DiVito (Elmwood Park, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Iride left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Giuseppe; her parents, Francesco Iannotta and Teresa Iannotta; and her siblings, Orlando (Lina), Colomba (Pietro) and Tonino (Carmela).
She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Ek and Patricia DiVito; her grandchildren, Matthew Ek and Kathryn Ek (Tyler Pesko); and her sisters, Elisa and Clara (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Celestine Catholic Church (3020 N 76th Ct, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
