He is survived by: his wife Benita; his children, Jeremy Smith (Tara) and Jennifer Smith (Michael Matusak); his grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Tera Jensen (Travis) and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Lily and Charlee Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sugar Grove Church and Cemetery (16362 County Road 2300 E Chrisman, IL 61924).
