He is survived by: his children, Robert G. Ruban and Janet Borst; his granddaughters, Jessica Perry (Nick) and Amy Borst; his great grandchild Isaac Perry; his siblings, Phillip Ruban (Carol) and Margaret Ruban-O'Brien; and his brother-in-law Roger (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
