He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan M. Herman; his children, Lori Rizvi (Zulfiqar) and Edward Herman (Joanne); his grandchildren, Heather Rizvi (John Lindsay), Jason Rizvi (Caitlin Darden) and Katie Herman (Brad May); his great grandchildren, Emilia, Genevieve, Theodore and Rowan; and his sibling Hilbert Herman, Jr.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
