He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew C. Westen and Rena H. Bruns. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Joyce (VanHilsen); his daughter Julie Landers (Walter) of Lawndale; his grandchildren, Zachary Landers of Lincoln, IL and Carman Shah (Tarak) of Naperville, IL; his great grandchild Tiya Shah; and his siblings, Irene Westen of Emden, Fauline Johnson (Alfred), Agnes Marten (Virgil) and Christian Eldon "Bud" Westen (Anna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lornie's memory to the Emden Fire and Rescue or to the Riverside Rod and Gun Club.
