He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Ray Hale and Anna Hale (Smith); his wife Jane Anne Biermacher (Norman); his sister Rosemary Hale; and his daughter Dawn Rene Biermacher.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Biermacher of Fargo, ND and Lee Anne Barwick (Charles) of Cape Girardeau, MO; his brothers, Val Hale (Janis) of New Albany, IN, Eddie Hale (Karen) of Wadesville, IN and Robert Hale (Vickie) of Marion, VA; and his grandchildren, Stacey Payne, Sean Campbell, Nicholas Barwick (Alyssa), Andrew Barwick (Sydney), Kristen Barwick and Casey Barwick. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Crain Funeral Home - Egyptian Chapel (3208 S Park Ave, Energy, IL 62933). The inurnment will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Egyptian Memorial Gardens (3208 S Park Ave, Energy, IL 62933).
