It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carter of Enfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold T. Carter and Lucille Carter (Garrett). He is survived by: his wife Kay Carter (Wageneck); his children, John Carter (Carla) of Enfield and Kim Woodrow (Terry) of Clay City, IL; his grandchildren, Danielle Dillman (Austin) and Casey Young (Brianna); and his great grandchildren, Luke Dillman, Lane Dillman, Willow Young and Harper Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation, envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
