It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel D. Todd of Enfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Earl Pollard; her husband Donald G. Todd; her mother Irene Pollard (Ninness); and her siblings, Violet Ashby, Viola Carty, Robert Pollard, George Pollard, Kenneth Pollard, William Pollard, Helen Sexton, Margaret Pollard, Judy Pollard, Clarence Pollard and Maxine Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Miranda Atkinson (Dan) of McLeansboro, Dana Evans (Wes) of Enfield, Donald Todd, Jr. of Enfield, Gregory Todd of Clinton, IN and Michael Todd (Athena) of Enfield; her siblings, Betty Hosick (Tom) of Enfield and Roy Pollard of Thailand; and her grandchildren, Danny Atkinson (Stacey), Douglas Atkinson (Amanda), Derrick Atkinson (Crystal), Melissa McKenzie (Jarrod), Adam Turner, Melinda Dotson (Chris), Jacob Davis (Sierra), Ashley Adkisson (Jacob), Megan Hudson (Todd), Abigail Todd, Courtney Todd, Brandon Todd (Krista) and Sara Henkelman (Teddy). She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stendeback Funeral Home (119 W Main St, Enfield, IL 62835). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mabel's memory to New Beginning Church of God's Food Pantry or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield or by mail to 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
