Betty L. Hewlett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Hewlett of Equality, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Moore and Gladys Moore (Brannon); her husband Harry Hewlett; her siblings, Shirley Brown, Bobby Lee and Gene Moore; and her son-in-law Larry Joe Unthank.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Hewlett of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Hewlett (Cathy) of Mulkeytown, IL, Sherry Unthank of Eldorado and Micki Hewlett of Templeton, CA; her grandchildren, Carey Joe Unthank (Katie), Haley, Laniey Howard and Shelby Hewlett (Nolan Domineck); her great grandchildren, Larry, Peyton, Bryson and Annilyn Unthank; her brother Bill Moore (Rosalyn) of Equality; her niece Carol Moore-Slater; and her close friends, Dixie Long and Martha Betz.

Memorials may be made to the Eldorado Church of God or St. Jude's Children's Hospital and envelopes will be available.
