We bid farewell to Doris Morton of Equality, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walters and Mae Walters (Willis); and her grandson Cody Armstrong. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Walters, Harrison Walters, Edith Beard, Anna Mae Greer, Delbert "Deb" Walters, Nancy Sheppard, John Walters, Hiram Walters, Laura Edwards and Everett Walters; her spouse Charley Morton; her daughters, Kim Morton of Equality, Linda Patton (late Danny) of Cave, Pam Householder of Harrisburg and Jennifer Morton; her grandchildren, Mandy Patton, Stephanie Patton (Ryan), Kyle Morton and Kirby Morton; her great grandchildren, Sophie Armstrong, Elaina Patton, Henry Patton and Lucy Patton; and her brother-in-law Jack Edwards of Norris City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
