He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Riecks and Geraldine Riecks (Handley); and his son Joseph Riecks. He is survived by: his wife Mary Riecks (Murphy) of Equality; his children, Bradley Murphy (Melissa) and Samantha Riecks of Eldorado, IL.; his grandchildren, Andrew Riecks of Eldorado, IL and Isabelle Riecks of Equality, IL; and his sister Karen Brown (Bill).
