She was predeceased by : her father Harry Nalley; her husband Edward Burtis; her son Joseph Burtis; her mother Edith Hickman (Gwaltney); and her brothers, Marion Nalley, Clarence Nalley and Robert Nalley.

She is survived by : her sons, Terry E. Burtis and Jack Burtis of Indianapolis, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Cathy Burtis of Equality; her grandchildren, Erik Burtis (Missy) of Harrisburg, Jeremy Burtis (Tina) of Harrisburg, Israel Burtis of Equality, Terisha Wilson (Matthew) of Harrisburg, Joe Burtis (Kelly) of Harrisburg, Edward Burtis (Leah) of Harrisburg and Sara Lands (Nick) of Eldorado; her great grandchildren, Josh Burtis, Braden Burtis, Alexa Burtis, Carson Burtis (Riley), Claire Burtis, Issac Burtis, Ezra Burtis, Oliver Burtis, Burke Wilson, Brooks Wilson, Mallie-Kate Wilson, Amelia Wilson, Seth Burtis, Samuel Burtis, Martin Burtis, Tucker Burtis, Vincent Burtis, Weston Griffin, Nora Lands and Harrison Lands; her great great grandchildren, Johvii Burtis and Callahan Burtis; her siblings, James Nalley (Kim) of Prescott, Arizona, Linda Pool (Albert) of Salem, Arkansas and Ann Simpson (Vic) of Rogers, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law Sue Nalley of West Branch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
