He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Charles and Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Hale (Drone); and his son Greg Hale. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Hill; his children, Ben Donley of Vienna, Steven McEwing (April) of Raleigh and Stephanie Patterson (Robert) of Equality; his grandchildren, Gregory Hale, Cassidy Emery (Vincent), Savannah Sanders, Mirranda Webb (Dylan), Mason McEwing (Jessica), Andrew McEwing, Addi McEwing, Evan White (Ty) and Ethan Patterson (Kambria); and his sisters, Peggy Miles of Evansville, Indiana and Barb Gibbs (Bill) of Golconda. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
