He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Olroyd and June Olroyd (Gladwell); and his son Jackie. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Olroyd of Erie; his sons, Richard Wyatt (Katie) of East Moline and Loren McNair (Cara) of Metropolis; his grandchildren, Jacinta Allee of Washington, DC, Chelsey McNair of Metropolis and Tyler McNair of Metropolis; and his brothers, Steve Olroyd (Barb) of Metropolis, Darrell Olroyd (Vickie) of Metropolis and Roger Olroyd (Joy) of Virginia. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gibson-Bode Funeral Home (616 Main St, Erie, IL 61250).
