He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Alepra and Magdeline Pianfetti Alepra; his former wife Anne Cecelia Murphy; his sister Judith; and his stepdaughter Sherry Scott Flack.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Scott; his children, Peter Alepra (Meg) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Katherine Ziskovsky (Al) of Swisher, IA, Michael Alepra of Swisher, IA and Paul Alepra (Mary); his stepsons, Bradley Scott of Mountain Home, AR, John Scott (Michelle) of Flippin, AR and David Scott (Leslie) of Watseka, IL; his brother Ken Alepra (Sherry) of Gillespie, IL; his brother-in-law Norm Emmons of Benld, IL; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Audrey Alepra, Magdeline, Jeremiah Ziskovsky (Mandey Lund), Madeline and David Alepra. He is also survived by great grandson due in January, twenty-six step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Erie (616 Main St, Erie, IL 61250). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (616 Main St, Erie, IL 61250).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Public Library, the Anne Alepra Media Center at the Erie High School, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, or Morrison Sportsman's Club.
