It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Gabriel of Erie, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gabriel and Jessie Gabriel; his wife Carole A. Duffy; his pet Dillon; and his siblings, Ronald and Judith.

He is survived by: his children, James Gabriel (Cheryl), Bettendorf, Christine Gabriel and Kathleen Gabriel; and his brothers, Bernard Gabriel of Albany, IL, David Gabriel (Rose) and Erie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Erie (616 Main St, Erie, IL 61250).
