Eldon R. Rocke Obituary
We bid farewell to Eldon R. Rocke of Eureka, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Eldon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rocke and Nettie Schrock Rocke; his wife Ida Mae Steffen; and his siblings, Richard Rocke, Mildred Schlipf and Arlene Huette.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Greer (Kevin), Dianne Wettstein (Jim), Kathy Knapp (Norm) and Gail McCane (Steve); his brother Norman Rocke; his grandchildren, Justin Dillard (Caitlin), Matt Dillard (Alyssa), Joshua Wettstein (Carly), Jeni Ursu (Jesse), Katie Ursu (Jakob), Kendra Wettstein, Jeremy Wettstein (Amber), Kelsey Wettstein, Kirk Knapp, Kendall Knapp (Carla), Connor Knapp (Abi), Caitlin and Amanda McCane; and his great grandchildren, Natalya, Luke, Micah Dillard, Kyler, Dawson, Coleton, Oakley Wettstein, Levi, Laura, Evan Ursu, Marie Ursu, Jared Wettstein, Blair, Skye and April Knapp.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Church (700 W Cruger Ave, Eureka, IL 61530).
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka or Roanoke.
