She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bowald and Leah Bowald (Fischer); her husband Melvin Walder; and her siblings, Rosemary, Alfred, William (Bill) and David.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Edwards (Kurt) of Barrington, IL, Steve Walder (Kathy) of Hoopeston, IL, Mike Walder (Susie) of Sterling, OH, John Walder (Lisa) of Wolcott, IN and Sandy Steiner (Dave) of El Paso, IL; and her siblings, Benjamin Bowald of Grand Rapids, MI and Naomi Vogel (Stan) of Morton, IL. She is also survived by 5 sister-in-laws; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Heiterland Alzheimer's unit of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home. The family has chosen to send donations to Heiterland Alzheimer's unit of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home.
